KE series have no 1.6 engine (stock).

Correct - they're coded TE7# as they have either the 2T, 3T or 2T-G engine. The transmission is indeed a T50, but when compared to the one on AE86, it has a a different bellhousing (for T-series engine), a different length rear extension and a smaller output shaft.

OK, and finnaly, can I bolt on T 50 from KE 70 with 4A-GE bellhousing on AE 86, or I must take apart my gearbox and KE 70 gearbox and shift housings and bolt on my AE 86?

Jezza you ahve two options imo:

Option 1 (believe me this will work and what else do you have to lose Smile)

Put auto tranny fluid in it like any dexon 3, make your gearbox shift as smooth as a baby bottem Big Grin

Option 2

do a W58 or 57 conversion as they can handle shit loads of power and you can get them in so many different cars....

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME REBUILDING A T50 IT WILL JUST BREAK AGAIN

I've already tried automatic transmission fluid and have now decided to opt for Redline MT90 as it did wonders for the last car. The automatic fluid hasnt helped quite the way I was hoping.

Well im giving this a try anyway as my last gearbox was far worse originally than my current one. It seems to be getting better, it's just toying about and seeing what results I get.

Pardon me for being bluunt, but screwing around with wrong fluids is NOT going to help anything in a gearbox with bad sychros. If they're worn out they're worn out, and only a rebuild is going to help.

Plenty of used car dealers put sawdust in transmissions because it will hide problems--for a short time. But it will never fix them. Same thing for using the wrong fluid. It can't help much, and it can't help for long. ATF might swell some leaking seals to stop leaks...but it can't rebuild worn parts.

Original owner, 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S in the US of A. Will trade for a Cadillac-Gage V150 or a Ford GT44.
