Fuel pump issue
it at least does not fire at all, what iff you use brake cleaner in the inlet? did you tried that? iff it then doesnt want to get going or has the intention, is is a electric supply issue. else fuel I would say

Fuel pump issue
Fuel smell could potentially be only from the cold start injector. You can unplug it and see/listen/smell if the behaviour is different.
