Golf Mk4-AudiA4 calipers on rear
As mentioned in several topics some people upgraded the rear brakes by Primera discs and Golf MK4 caliper.
I'm planning to do also. Is the parking brake cable a direct fix without any mods? My original setup doesn't allow any wheel lock when pulling the handbrake (parking is OK), even after I adjusted the pad clearance so that I only need 3-4 nothches on the lever. Main reason for the upgrade would be shorter pedal stroke and "effective" hand-brake. Thanks. |

Hello,
It won't be much use , I did that mod on my rally car . But I'v a hydraulic handbrake. For the braking improvement , it's ok , and tou can find lots of performance pads. (Competing with Ferodo DS2500). Regards PHil Filh Save the RWD cars |
