Wave
Going to Warwick next year for University and I would like to get some of the questions answered

1, How much does it cost to get a 86 running - Maintenence fee assuming that the dealer treat it like ****, parking fee, insurance, and any other that I am missing.

2, Where to get a Hachi (saw some GT Coupe on some websites but is there a good site to grab them - site as in web based or physical ones)

3, How much is the petrol

4, Finally, any part time jobs (Undergraduate student - Warwick University) that's enough to get my Hachi running.

Hoping to get some ideas about money matters in GBR
Everything is cheap where I live

HK,

I only know that when my brother in law visited us a few weeks ago he got scared of the gas prices in HollandSmile

I think its cheaper in the UK but not much, probably between 1 euro and 1.30 euro's per liter.

As for prices, asfar as I know 3000 pounds is about the low end for a good running hachi but there are those for sale for over 7000.....

Greetz,

Bastiaan "mux213" Olij

Moved down under, no more hachi Sad

I heard in the news, that the high gas prices wasnt caused on lack of oil in the underground. It was caused by lack of funds to raffine the oil to petrol... So infact the prices will only get higher and higher in the nearest future Angry

The AE86 is pretty expensive to maintain. (thats if you use it the way its ment to be used) You cant get many spareparts other that the original from toyota. But it will get you smiling over and over again

2:
Look at ebay. Dont know that many other sites where you can find AE86´s. Perhaps some of the UK members know of some?

4:
No-one are able to answer that but yourself; What are your skills?? What do you like to do??
