Ok so my brother won't stop about how easy it would be to steal my car. And I remember reading something here about people that can open hachi's with creditcards Huh

I am curious if anyone has taken extra measures and what that might be? I was thinking of buying an extra lock for the steeringwheel.

im thinking about some options for anti theft of an ae86
*quick release steering wheel so you can take it with you.
*pedal lock system

I think youre pretty safe with those 2 options
if they still wanna steal it with those they will get in one way or another.

Mine has a hidden switch installed that breaks the power supply for the fuel pump - easy way.

Must have an imobiliser, so many ae86 are stolen.
Hidden kill switch is also good

I bought a steering clamp yesterday.. unfortunately it could not prevent some fucking asshole from jumping all over my car.

it has dents everywhere now on the hood and roof.. big pit in my headlightSad 25 years in japan nothing happens, half a year in this fucking country and AAAARGRGGH

well.. I brought it to my parents now and it is now a weekend car. As it happens we just started removing rust, and it was scheduled for a new paint job. Great time for removing dents

atleast now the car is 24/7 guarded. I live in a small apartment but I didnt think the neighborhood was that bad.

its like people here hate japanese cars or something. A buddy of mine had an sx and they kicked off his side mirrors and threw rocks at the car.

back to my trusty bike Undecided
