Guys, the official language here is English (except some parts of the forum). I understand russian also, don't make me laugh with all these "AE86" like cars Evil
Yes, interesting projects but stupid ideas IMHO. This is not AE86 anymore.

jamie,

We're not to stringent with the occasional sidestep in language in new members, people saying hi and such in their native tongue is fine, aslong as the discussion doesn't suddenly go fully into non english. Thats what the regional forums are for. But thanks for the headsup Smile

Asfar as these not being hachi roku's anymore, thats very subjective isn't it ?Smile Can you still call that tubular frame monster a few posts up a hachiroku? Is an S2000 equiped hachi still a hachi? Does a blacktop swap even make a hachi no longer a hachi? Where do you draw the line?
Everyone has a right to their opinion, and everyone thinks differently about this. So we welcome all opinions on this board aslong as it happens in harmony and understanding.

I'm sure there are as many people on this board that find Soara's car very interesting, as people who think its hidious Smile

I will not call tubular chassis "hachi" but engine swaps are acceptable when they follow this particular car goal - ballance. There is no way to call "hachi" something hachi-a-like Tongue
Anyways - this is just my personal opinion.

And your entitled to itSmile

Anyways, enough about that subject. I hate people dropping big V8s into RX7s, but plenty of people like to do that aswell, its their car, they are allowed to do with it what they want and plenty of people like what they doSmile

Hey Soara,

well actually, I'm surprised you call it hachi go because the go (85/SR5) was the low power version of the hachi roku (86/GTS).
