Hi! i've been around here for quite a long time, reading and learning, but without a car till now

its a late '87 3 door hatch, completely rust free, from portugal. she was meant to be a proyect car, so the whole interior and rear panels are missing, ive gathered a few bits and pieces in boxes the seller had.

aaand a bit of info about myself:

Im Alex, 22yo, living in madrid, but finished my college studies in the uk, with an internship at Regal Autosport, very nice people, ive learnt a lot from them. Im buying the car from a mate, which is a pro spanish drifter, he has 2 levins, 2 mx5 and 1 s14 shell with a 2jz being built to drift.

with his help (cos he knows the car, and he's a nice and caring guy) and a friend, we're going to try to put everything toghether by our own, no workshops, at least as far as we can go.


im looking forward to sort out all the questions i'll have during the process, and help others if i can

the car comes from portugal, im doing all the paperwork through Toyota Spain, since this car wasnt sold here, so its like introducing a new one

I've brought my 86 over from the UK and now have it stored in Barcelona. I intende to to restore it but unfortunatly it's not rust free, like yours, well it spent the first 17 years of its life in the UK so I guess it's normal. Anyway I would like to register it here and was wondering what is involved. I was hopeing you might be able to give me some advice.
