Hatchback's AE86:it goes on...
hello,
my name is Oliver, im 27 years young an located near cologne. My all-the-year-daily car is an MR2 SW20 Since the fist time, a friend took me with his hachi i wanted to have one. Some weeks ago i buyed one in Suisse. It got 232.000km done in his short life. When i finishes him, he should look like this : Here i would like to show you how i rescue the AE, whitch normally should be sold in parts. First pictures which i get on email: the price was very good, so i buyed him without see it natural. I drive about 600km with the train, and took the car with me. And only 5 1/2 hours later my hachi was on my parking place as you can see, there is a lot of damage because of hail on the car. Some days after, i began to whats out for rust: left side doesn't look so bad....... on the first look the right side is also ok..... but after i used the srewdriver..... it look more worse..... ... one time the cars end new... From Inside, you can see, how far the rust goes.... after that, i futher strip the car no rust at all..... here ist everything ok, too tody i did spend some hours more for the car, and removed the sideskirts....but it doesn't look so bad, i think only the left side will take some more work.... thats all for the moment....story continous |
