Heater blower removal
I did a quick search on the forum for this with no luck!
After being fed up of getting no heat from my heater in winter I back flushed the matrix today and started to get a bit more heat. Now my problem is I'm not getting much air through the vents. I took out the bottom half of my dash to find the blower, undone a few bolts but the assembly wouldn't even move, is this a dash out job? also I think I need to clear the vents that run through to the windscreen is this hard? If you could give me any information how to go about this it would be greatly appreciated! I'm getting quite bored of driving around in the freezing cold with both windows down! Thanks! |

Heater blower removal
IDK about the RHD ones, but the LHD's blower motor is held in with 3 bolts, 1 wire connection, comes out in about 1.5 minutes, so simply that no explanation is even possible let alone necessary.
I'd look at the controls for the vents & temp that moves the coolant valve and the flap between the hot& cold side. Feel the inlet & outlet temp of the heater core with your hand to get a feel for what air temp the vents should be putting out. Good luck. |
