Hello European AE86 family
I'm here to escape the 200SX obsessed UK forums.

Nice to see some Euro AE86 people... there's a few of us in the UK who will no doubt be dropping by at some point.

I've had AE86's for 8 years (since I was 17) and currently have a stripped-out, coilovered 20v'd silver/black AE86 and a stock, mint 40,000 mile gold AE86. I'm a bit of an AE86 obsessee, but it's healthy.

I know of a few of you Euro guys like Rikard from Belgium, Frederik from Norway and Kristian from Sweden, look forward to talking to all you guys.

Nice to see you here too, Will.

Rikard hasn't registered yet, but I'm sure he will once he's back from holiday!

Why motorsports? Because other sports require only one ball!

20 valve engines for a very, very good price...

I asked him to keep an eye out for a spare blacktop 20v for me!

Is it that bad? :o
Here in Holland we only have one 200SX forum, so it's even worse out here. Tongue

Well, anyway: welcome to the forum. Smile

Edit: you accidently posted in the General forum in stead of the New Member forum. Moved topic...

Hello European AE86 family
Thanks for the welcomes my European Corolla cousins. Nice to be here.

There's just something about AE86 owners that makes us all OK to be around; same kinda beliefs and values etc. Feel the AE86 love...

Err anyway, yeah I've got a few pics of the car I can email but they're not on the web anywhere but you can host and post them here if ya want.

Here's some from drifting at Silverstone....

Jan - My AE111 engine puts out about 145bhp tops. It's stock apart from funnels, filters, front dizzy and exhaust. I've got a nicer 4-2-1 HKS manifold and will be doing a 50mm under-axle exhaust soon so that may help a little.

If you want big power, don't do the 20v conversion. If you want a beautiful, smooth and balanced engine that is light and sounds sexual, then definately do it, just know what to expect. I love it and think it is just enough power for the AE86 and suits the soul of the car.

Banpei - sorry about the wrong post area, thanks for moving it. But yeah, it is THAT bad over here. Damn turbo big power obsessed Nissan gimps who think drifting is dumping your right foot and letting 350 ponies take you round some corners sideways...
