hi everyone,

I want to introduce my 1986 levin gt apex coupe.
I currently daily the car which is very nice to do as it has power steering and a/c.
it's low km, low rust and low power
I got the wonderful opportunity to acquire it a year ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed modifying, and just taking care of it.
the car was probably built in japan somewhere in the early 00s and hasn't received much attention since so it's an amazing time capsule of period touge builds.
I bought the car with a blacktop already swapped in (which is something I really wanted to do if I ever were to get an ae86) and I installed a kaaz superQ 2 way lsd so it likes to slide. Other mods done by me include: the mighty tea sieve intake mod, the sapporo catch can and some boring things like cusco strut bars etc.

in the future I want to continue making unique modifications but also do some regular stuff like coilovers, wheels and some other chassis things. I'm not chasing much more power but i'd like to build the engine a bit too at some point.

well, this was my introduction! keen to see what I can learn on this platform!

You can also install the Tapatalk app on your phone. When you post pictures there, they will be hosted on Tapatalk and inserted in your post. Ivan and Robert are using Tapatalk extensively.

I'll give tapatalk a shot then, i've seen the pop-up for it a million times but never used it as i've always been a forum lurker.

Hmmm, strange. I was convinced you were using it as well.
I did recently fix the implementation though, so if it stopped working recently: it now works again.

thx! I hope the forum will receive more newbies and come back life a bit. i have lurked around on this forum for years and it seems that most have moved to facebook, reddit or retired. I will be active from now on out anyways

As I'm not using any "social media" I'd be happy to see more forum activity.

I grew up after MySpace, so I guess I'm still considered young and should be on the "social medias". I work in IT though, so I know their business model - no thanks.
