Ivan, tuning the engine with a megasquirt is no problem. But you'll have to fork out the money for a wideband O2 meter. From there on its relatively easy. Don't forget that most of the turbo'd engines you see around are NOT tuned in any significant way. They take out enough ignition timing to prevent ping and then inject enormous amounts of fuel. Most of them still run the MAP shapes of the NA computer :roll:

The amount of money needed to do this correctly is exactly the reason why this is one of the last things on my list. BTW the doctor...I think he made his own twincharge setup.
Anyway, a turbo running 13 to 14 km/liter is very impressive in it's own right if you ask me. I can only get that low fuel consumption if I drive like a granny. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
