Hello from Norway
Hi all
I`m from Norway, I`ve been keen on the 86 for about a year now. Remember seeing it in rally`s and on nearby track when I was little, but never really knew what car it was till I saw a vid of Tsuchiya Keiichi driving his TRD Trueno for the first time on youtube, and that just got me hooked, as most of you probably understand, hehe. Currently looking into buying an AE86, but as I want to use it for daily driving, getting it and registering it is going to be two entirely different things and either is going to be very hard considering Norwegian laws and taxes. As from 2007 a JPN right handed imported car cannot be used for public roads as they claim that the safety is not good on right handed JPN cars no matter when they were imported from now on exept those already registered (But still, directly life threatening and "understeery" machines like Audi S series and such gets right in, no prob at all, hehe. Not insulting the brand tho, I like Audi`s, exept the insane understeer I usually get when driving the 3 currently parked outside my house and owned by dad, I can tell you, a heavy-ass like the S8 sedan is no fun to be in when you get understeer at 80kmph thru a tricky turn.) So I am forced to try and find one in my own country or.. any other country exept JPN.. without donating organs hehe. Well, guess I`ll my very important questions in the technical thread right now. Hello from Norway
Stian Sørlie's old car is currently for sale. Looks like it needs some work though.... This car has previously won norwegian rally championship if I'm not mistaken...

Hello from Norway
Lovely bureaucrats, last time I was in Normay I hardly saw any traffic to be dangerous. Oslo maybe, but other then that, try and find another car to crash into lol
Did tear up Oslo by accident trying to get to our boat. Literally drove up the ramp seconds before she sailed, that was fun Never to be repeated though.. god we were young back then... Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |
