Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
Hi all,
 I have been a big fan of the 86 for waaay too long, I am a moderator over on http://www.zxoc.co.uk (Nissan ZX Owners Club) I have white Nissan S12 Silvia which is the closest I can find to a Trueno, and is a 10th of the price (you are looking at a VERY poor Family Guy here! Friends know of my enthusiasm and I have more models of the darn thing than is healthy. Money is being saved, I saw one on ebay for £7000 and nearly cried! but there is one out there for me. (hell I would be over the moon with an 85!) The saving continues, till then im gonna lurk here! still no 86 ________________________ |

Nissan Silvia S12's dont look bad either, and you can drift those too!
Anyway, welcome here.. You should be able to find one cheaper than 7000 pounds, unless it needs to be all dressed up and ready to go. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Yup you can drift the S12, but as there is no LSD, its out with the welder and weld that diff up!  This one I found on ebay was well over priced It just showed how greedy some people are and how TV shows and endorsement can push up prices! Ill have one someday... still no 86 ________________________ |

A lardy 200KG heavier than an 86, but the CA18ET is a good engine, Seen some tuned to 400HP+ (but thats just nuts) it has loads of torque, it just needs an Intercooler and boost controller to release the power.
A nice cheapo upgrade and easy to do Still, pity about the weight, and lack of LSD tho still no 86 ________________________ |

welcome, love those S12, indeed, stock a bit underfitted but easily tunable and loads of fun  Show some more pics, it looks pretty good And yeah, ae's prices are going more and more to the looney side of life... Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi

If i could put it on a diet, and fit a decent LSD I would be happy, Its really close to a Trueno in looks (apart from the wheels, a set of Konig Rewinds might help) but im not going to be happy till I get one. Any of you guys going to JAE next week? still no 86 ________________________ |
