ooooooh.. I forgot all about the simca! PLEASE show some pics/movies of that car as well. It may not be ae86 related, so perhaps a new thread in the offtopic section would be appropriate, but you would do at least one (and I think quite a lot more) oldscool lover a big pleasure!
I totally love the old simca rallies and such...remember the stories of some of the dads of my friends about the things sometimes launching on 2 wheels after they were modified A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Better post them in the homebrew media area instead of here. Homebrew would be fine since its all about a 4AG in a Simca. :9 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

alimonos Wrote:the distributor is the stock one S.K. ? Do you use the ECU and the MAP sensor for timing? Advance settings? No, I mixed 4A distributor and 2E distributor inner parts, put these in modified 2E distributor You need a both those distributors. You can use a 4A (or 2A or 3A) distr.axle, weld 2E plate on top of to the axle as shown. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/Kl...daxle1.jpg Take upper part and turn plate "upside down" http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/Kl...bottom.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/Kl...erpart.jpg You also need lathe a distributors bottom like this http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/Kl...ibutor.jpg measure rotors place from 4A-GEs distributor axle and put it same place on 4A axle. I use 2Es electronic parts, but I don´t use any vacuum advande setting. It´s a difficult to me wrote about in english, but I hope you got a picture how I did that. 1 picture says more than 1000 words, or how it was? To NoHachi and banbei, Simca pictures are coming in some day, soon. |

Awesome!
It's still a bit weird seeing the 4AG mounted the other way around. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
