heat wrap aint good for ur manifold champ.looks the goods thou,eventually ur manifold will distort and crumple
if first u dont succeed,ur not trying hard enough |

Here's my 4AGTE..
Hey guys, the turbo actually spools up
pretty quick considering the size of the turbo. Full 10 psi by 3700 rpms in 2nd gear. BTW been running header wrap on that manifold when it was in my FX16 for over a year with no problems, it actually spools 100-200 rpms sooner. PS motor made 279hp at 12 psi but didnt get the tq reading for some reason, the guy said the pickup was acting up??? I hope the motor last a bit longer but I doubt it. |

Here's my 4AGTE..
You can calculate torque from hp and rpm. Thats the way they calculate hp in te first place. Sounds to me like they are bullshitting you, wouldn't trust the 279 hp reading either (not saying that the engine can't make that power, cou ld be more or it could be less, just that that particular number is untrustworthy).

Here's my 4AGTE..
Well as far as the dyno I know that one reads a little
higher than a normal dyno, but the run was $20 so it was worth it. Also cant be to far off as the car traps 117mph so I'd say it's between 230hp and 250hp give or take. Cant wait till next week the GZE goes in and more boosting pleasure. PS you guys know if I have to shim the bluetop cams if I swap them into the GZE??? |
