Hilarious Yahoo Auctions guy from 2004
*Edit: Turns out he is well known, I'm just an idiot. If had had bothered to look at the names of any of the files that I saved then I would have seen the name 'RunningFree86' in every single one.

Did anyone here browse AE86 parts on Yahoo Auctions back in 2004?
If so you may have seen a hilarious guy a few times, maybe he's well known in Japan.

Do any of the 4 or 5 active users on here remember that guy?
Is he still around somewhere?

In the 7th picture the guy holding the cylinderhead is ‘runningfree86’. That’s his red trueno in the first picture. So you could ask him on his instagram who the other person is.

Success!!!

Well spotted zenki, I never heard of the runningfree86 guy before. I did a quick check on his Instagram and I found a photo of the same guy riding the same bike posted on march 27th 2018. I followed the link on that pic and I found our man.
For anyone interested, here's his Instagram:

Turns out his name is ryota_4ag, I would never have thought that he would still be around. There's even pics of him riding the same bike on his Instagram.

For those who were interested, but didn't catch the auction photos at the time, here's a new video with some of the old photos at the beginning. It appears that most of the photos were taken on Hiroshi Takahashi's driveway, so he may have been the guy who was actually selling the parts back in 2004, while Ryota was helping out by appearing in the photos.

Also, it might be worth subscribing to his channel, he has some good stuff on there, though its obviously a lot more useful to those who can understand Japanese.
