How can I check if I'm running on all 4 cylinders?

My 84 Sr5 with 4a-c motor is running rough and stalls at low rpm. I'm wondering if it could only be running on a couple of cylinders. How would I go about checking?

pull the spark plug leads one at a time and see if it gets worse on a particular cylinder (when I say one at a time, I mean make sure you have 3 leads connected at all times).
If it's running on 3 cylinders you will notice no difference from pulling the sparkplug lead.

Might just be some bad ignition timing, or any number of things..

Say 1 2 and 4 work...
If you get to 3 and pull it, nothing will change..
If something changes on all 4 you're ok

Try installing new plugs and you'll be able to see if they are all working.

actually im having the same problem on my 86 sr5, when im turning the wheel at low rpms it doesnt stall but it does go down to where it ratles. my fuel jet is high though, could that be a problem?
