How much are you willing to pay?
Hi I'm new to the forum, and my name is Chris
I've always been interested in getting an 86 as a nice little commuter car and I've recently got a reply from this seller on craigslist on his 1985 AE86 GTS LSD. According to the seller it has never been in an accident, but then it looks like its been hit on the passenger side. The original engine was replaced with a red top that has approximately 30,000 miles on it. I'm just wondering what you guys think about it? and how much would you pay for it. let me know guys. Thanks for your time -Chris |

Lol, 1000-1500
They are pretty rare here in europe (european forum, mostly european members). 1500 will get you a rustbucket without an engine here. http://monkeymagic86.wordpress.com |

if the only dmg is that rear fender and the passenger door and you only have to pay 1500 bucks for it I would say go get it.

as mentioned by Nomuken - unless the car has rust all over the place for European standard 1500 are a steal. Prices here haven't been that low for a car like that the last 10-15 years

How much are you willing to pay?
It should be this craiglist add?
"I purchased the vehicle for $2,700 few years ago. While the original engine still runs strong, I decided to spend $500 to purchase a relatively new redtop and spent additional labor to had it installed to give it a bit more punch." So that makes us an AE86 with an 30k redtop engine, 4 new tires,... Even for US standards 1500 would be a great deal http://monkeymagic86.wordpress.com |
