How to install seat harness

If you mount the harness on your original rear seat mounts. You WILL break your back when you crash.

Your seats are designed to take force backwards and forwards. Not up and downwards.

As MRGUD said you can fit "eyebolts" to the original seatbelt mounting points on chassis at base of B-pillar & transmission tunnel.

To mount harness shoulder straps, many people fit them to the rear seatbelt points, but the angle is too far from horizontal (this could cause more damage in accident possibly break seat or worse you!)

I've mounted a bar between the chassis where rear seats ordinarily bolt to and fixed the harness to it.

There are bars that you can buy and install behind your seat to attach the shoulder belts to. The lap and dick belts must be bolted to the floor board. I'm not sure where you can get the bar but probably any Street Racing store would have them. Best bet is to get at least a basic roll cage.

I have the bar from Kid Karola's pic in my car. I still think they are pretty flimsy..wouldn't trust them in a crash. The trouble is that when you apply force to the mounting bolt, they and the underlying bodywork bend ever so slightly. You need just a small rotation to cause a fairly big displacement of the middle of the bar and that loosens the belts. If you add a couple of welds at the mount you active a lot more sheet metal and the whole construction becomes stiffer.

Whatever you do, don't buy one of these things (although the way they mounted the straps, with loops instead of a bolt, is the way to go):
