Ian.G's Track/Drift Levin.
Been to see the Toyhonda today at Mr Oli's car factory.
Engine and box are now pretty much in the car and all major cutting has taken place. He is now waiting for Mk2 escort world cup x-member engine mounts and a few other bits to arrive before the platforms can all be built and the x-member rebuilt to strengthen what has been cut away. Maybe some more cutting will happen towards the back of the tunnel - this will only make it easier to pull the gearbox out when clutches and stuff need replacing. It was nice to go and see the engine in its new home - really looking forward to seeing what happens next. hehehehehe! Regards Ian. |

so Ian How much si custom header costing u I see that in most Hotstaff swaps the header was most expensive bit i remember reading they made a whole bunch just to try to get one that flowed as good as stock. Hope that thats BS and u dont have that problem, good luck and plase post pics of ur modded crossmembr and mounts

ya know in the current issue of honda tuning there are some pics of the skunk2 prototype header for s2000 it actually looks like it may work with 86 swap, can u tell me exactly what clearance issue is with steering rack is it too far back or too far forward? the Skunk2 one meets the collector more forward thank stock i will take a pic of book and upload it tomorrow
