Have you looked underneath the rear left corner? Most of the thime the corner wil be rusted if you take of the rear bumper.

A good engine/gearbox with a rusted body is worth 5000 euro to me. These days there are a lot of dreamers on the internet believing they own a car worth a whole lot of money when in fact you're owning a 25 year old rusted toyota that 95% of the world would not want for free..

A 100% original low mileage car that has no work done to it is worth some cash. A hachi with a rebuild engine and +200k has probably been around the block a couple of times Not bad at all, if you want to build a trackday car. Just don't blow all your money on it believing it is priceless, because it is not.

Offer the guy 5000, if he says no, look for another one. If it's your first car, you can also look into an AW11. Great fun and cheaper than an 86.
