@Jan: jup I've seen the prices that AE86's go for in Denmark. But I doubt that that is the market value. In Holland they are getting quite expensive as well, but I doubt that the insurance companies would regard the market value any higher then say 500 Euro's. Humz...difficult.

I bought mine for 11000 DKR, about 1500€.
Good price, though there are some work on the car.

I dont think it will be a problem to get that amount from the insurance companies here in DK... Even old cars are rather expensive
E.g. a '90 VW Golf II GTD is traded for 4-6000 € And the insurence companies know that this is the price to pay...

The AE86 hasnt went that much up in price yet, but I think its about to The demand is increasing!

86's were always hugely popular here in ireland, initial d had nothing to do with it, most people dont even know what that is ha ha, they go for silly prices over here though unfortunatly, anything between 7 and 14,000E.
