Jons New [Old Project]
I felt a bit left out not having a rebuild project, but one slippy road and a fence post later, now i have
Still need to take it to bits to see the extent of the damage, but its not too bad by the looks of things, just a new bonnet, bumper, radiator and grill. Excuse the camera phone picture, i will be taking pics as i work on it. |

I have another levin grill on its way over from Japan at present, guess i won't be selling it. Don't worry Matt still have your grill and lights coming. I can't decide between refitting a grill or making up a mesh grill for the front instead. Add a Levin badge and it could look pretty good. If i do that there will be another full grill and lights for sale. I was planning on changing the bonnet for a kevlar one, now i have to The wings are looking OK, the bumper is the problem, talking with Ian about copies of his, so watch this space as they will be on general offer if this happens, front and back.
The real shame was this was neither a snow or drifting caused accident. I had finished 'playing' and was on my way home when this corner came out of nowhere managed to drive home the 15 miles accross the back roads, so now i have something to spend my evenings on. |

Jon, yeah its the strangest things that accidents tent to happen there where you least expect them instead.
When you are playing your generally make sure you do this with full attention to what you are doing and make sure you dont come close to something. But on the way back home, relaxing from the adrenaline rush, thats when its most dangerous... Awell I'm sure some good will come out of it Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

I need to see if the chassis rails are bent at all, it's possible that they have a small kink in them but very little. All the radiator support etc should straighten out OK. I need a new radiator and my new spare appears to be for a fwd I need an oil cooler but have plenty of them. All the lights are OK, need some sort of grill. Bonnets kinked so that's kevlar, the bumpers toast so i'm looking at Ians. Looking at your picture Ian the bumpers look to be based on late spec ones need to see some side by side pictures, they don't look too different. That should see the car back on the road.
