It's amazing how many people keep trying to sell at those prices.
IMO the only cars worth that much must be decently restored and have some special upgrades. But even those dont sell at 15k (if you restore your 86, you really should be doing so for your own enjoyment). FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Modding your car NEVER pays off money wise. Only geeks would pay additional costs for a modded vehicle. Restored vehicles are a different story. Trying to get 10.000+€ of the real value of the car only because of a signature is just cheap IMO.

Pretty common in Europe... A decent 86 will reach easily the 10k€ range.....
Still... i think it's abusive... But hey, the car is a classic! |

In my opinion it's worth a try. I don't intend to sell mine but if someone would offer me 15k+ I'd seriously consider it as I'd be able to get a new one for less. Mind you this is all just in my dreams as my wife would never allow it due to sentimental value.

For me it is rather the other way around! Anyway, yes some AE86s would fetch 10K, but those are the really nice ones. Compare the Takumi tax with this: there is a really nice bone stock uber rare 1982 Celica GT RA63 for sale in way better condition than this car and all the owner seeks for is 3K. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
