The sheetsmith who fixed the rust, bought a Hachi to restore a month ago, the rims went along with the car. Now he had desided to import one from Swiss instead of restoring the rustbucket, and i got them pretty ass-cheap. Hurray!

zounds
I put it in a lathe (drejebænk) and used alot of sandpaper. Then autosol and alot of regular polishpaper. Tomorrow when the black paint is dry, im giving the rim clearcoat.

Ok cool. Witch kind of sandpaper did you use? Like "korn" 1000 or something?

First i used a 3M "paintremover thingy" on a accudrilling machine (?) to remove all the paint. Then grid 100 - 240 - 400 and final grid1000. And to polish it autosol and paper.
The result isnt shiny as a mirror, but then, it wasnt intended to be.
