My radical idea

I hate to see these amazing forums under utilised and under subscribed.
In an effort to change that should we all club together and point
any questions on social media to answers that exist on here?

Well I agree that something should be done. I would engage with your plan if I used any social media, it's a good idea.

A 'closed shop' for information.
FB are beginning to get a complete monopoly and the search
function is limted by algorithms and ai, basically set up to show you
what it thinks you want to see rather than what you asked.
Certainly from now on, if it's ok with the admin on here, l for one
will be adopting the 'closed shop' attitude.

I agree that social media are quite prone to "bit rot" as it's not in their interest to preserve data or information. I also see forums, like AEU86, being a treasure trove of information. I don't mind if the forums are being (back) linked from FB and alike.

Can't really help though, I'm not using social media.

What I will do is link to this forum if it's related to my YT channel I've just started.

Yes I agree!
I was looking into making new stickers a couple of months back, but since my dad passed away I have other things on my mind. I'll try to make time when I'm back from holiday.
