ok lets continue,

the pistons and the piston rods are not 4age one so we needed to buy new ones which i ll tell about later Smile so even the engine cost a lot to us...

so the car arrives to service...
(which is in an another city)

we still know just a few things about the car.And also we dont know what parts are missing or lost Huh so we were just waiting....
about 1.5 year from that photo i got some money and we started,

it seems like it is made of rust Sad but we worked on it.we had no other chance,

Golf Mk1 arches are a regular substitute for the ae86. About the same arc, about just as wide... Also Starlet arches are very popular. Tongue

But I must say this is a brave rebuild! Thumbs up!

banpei is right.

The reason I asked was that I wanted to order a pair golf mk1 arches and 'm not sure if I and the shop was talking about the same arches, cause they asked me if I want 3d or 5d. Did the mk1 come in a 5d version?

S.K. are the escort ones wider as well?

Sorry for offtopic.

You got a backseat foot blower Smile and there are no holes in the chassi. Is that a winter version? Tongue

Not as wide as Golf arches, but like same as AE86 have. Here
