Lets talk engine mounts
I'm needing to change my engine mounts as my old OEM ones have torn themselves apart.
I'm not wanting to go OEM. I'm thinking about TRD or Cusco. I've seen that Cusco units are 10mm lower than TRD and that overall TRD are more stiff. What are peoples opinions on these? Has anyone used either these? Are there any other GOOD makes that people are using. |

I got the Cusco ones and the are a straight fit but transmit quite a bit more vibrations into the cabin

No clearance issues what so ever. The bracket between gearbox to lower section of the header is a bit more difficult to fit but that's it. The lowering is minimal with just the rubber engine mounts.

I'll get a pic of my OEM to the Cusco ones Kazi, there's a good difference and the rubber hardness is a MASSIVE difference.
Make sure you do the Gearbox mounts too. I've got a funny problem with AE86 engine mounts but F20 Gearbox mounts - Cusco sell the Engine mounts separate for the AE86 but sell the F20 Engine and Gearbox mounts as a set so Hardrace gearbox mounts instead. |

That would be handy if you get a photo. Don't think there is an actual comparison photo anywhere! Have heard of the hard race 86 mounts but not looked into them. |

The TRD ones result in substantial vibration in the cabin. Rear vision mirror becomes redundant!
