After a bussines trip this week, I finally got some time to work on the car.
I instaled the thermostat since car didn't have one. Car wouldn't warm to working tempertaure and it was cold inside these days. Somebody instaled 2 or 3 gaskets so I had to use dremel tool to clean up the surface on water pump to prevent leaking. Other then that I replaced my windscreen wipers with new ones, replaced cable for openin the hood, since old one broke, mounted the front mask and mounted the front license plate. I still have to fix side indicators fuse, horn, rear glass heater, co-drivers doors... It's cold to work in garage so I doubt i'll do anything in next days. Also rebuilt spare rear brake calipers so I can fix everything on the rear axle when I'll be doing the LSD and bearings rebuild. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Zax, get one of those cheap small electric fan heaters. They work pretty good if you place them near you and let them blow hot air at you. I use one in my shed and it heats up the shed relatively quickly..

And it is indeed a very cheap option: you see those things for only 15 euros nowadays. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

OK, as I writen elsewhere I bought another hachi.
Description: blue metalic AE86 zenki GT, Bluetop 4A-GE MAP engine, 201k km on oddo, car is dented and scratched everywhere. There is no good panel on it. Doors, hood, hatch is rusty, sideskirts have big holes, all 4 fenders rusty, position lights broken, rear lamp broken, sunroof is bad, all seats have holes in them, there is no key (half of it is broken in lock) so no steering at the moment, windshield is broken.... I'll post the pics now, some of them from the morrning. Later I washed the car so it looks bit better now. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |
