Nice pics Zax, I just came back from a day at the track, nice to see I'm not the only one.
I think your silver car should be able to knock off more than just 2 seconds with mintex pads and some dot 5.1 fluid. Today was my first day at the track with the mintex pads and they where awesome...no fade whatsoever...all day long. And they wear about 3 times less during abusive driving than the average brakepad (the track volvo has slotted discs...eats pads really fast usually). I even managed to outbrake some other guys that turned out to be using ferodo ds3500 pads, pretty good pads too. Did manage to blow the headgasket sadly..

Just for comparison; two lan-evos 8 were driving 1:12 and 1:13. Also a souped up yugo racecar was in the 1:12 area.. my ex honda (4gen civic 1.6 dohc), was on the track day aswell - on semi-slics, driven by a girl; bes laptime was around 1:17 suposedly - so said the co driver.

That is on semislicks.. I dont think that rwd makes you any faster around a track unless you're a real good driver anyway. Last week I have seen a guy throwing a bone stock '94 nissan sunny 1.6 around the track on street tyres. Much respect for people that know how to drive em like that. Seeing a sunny being oversteered into the Audi S curve time after time is really impressive. He passed me once too.. was about equal to the volvo power-wise.
