..got to think about options.

Sad to say, but Zenki headlights are discontinued as much as Toyota knows.
Soon, any mistake that involves headlights on your precious Hachi will cost you many probles finding new headlights.

Don't know about Kouki, if they are avaliable it would be possible to go with zenki->kouki conversion but it can be expensive, especially if you have descent grill and sidelights....

I don't see any ads involving AE86 headlights, so i presume it will be preety hard to get them.
At least in my country, AE86 is very rare car, and non salvage yards keep stock of used parts for it.

Since they are easily found in Japan it would be great if it is possible to convert them from RHD to LHD (at least for us living in continenatal Europe ).

What are the options od using similar headlight ?

I believe guys with older Toyotas allready faced this problem, how is it solved, if it is at all ?

This is mine hachiroku with Fiat Uno headlights and grill. Just little modified.

Grill is Uno ? 16v sign is recognizable, VW .

As far as I know, grill has been modified and repainted, and brackets for lights had to be modified also.

Nice work. That's a good looking setup. I've got a set of bmw lights sitting in a box at home. I'm going to see if I can fit them in place of the current lights. I was going to fabricate a fibreglass grill to fit, probably something very similar to the one you've got there.

PS. I don't know that the bmw lights will fit, but they look about right, will need to cut into radiator support area though.

Can we use EE80 headlights?? The glass is the same with the Ae86 ones, maybe with a little modification we can put them in place :wink:
