Levin to Trueno conversion
Well there is a simpler solution: just be happy with your levin. Why spend that much money on some popup headlight frontend, when you could invest it in making the car better as it is.
You have a small chance of getting a cheaper frontend if you want to trade it, but then you'll have to drive across europe to get it and swap the parts over. Shipping anything that big will end up costing you more than you like.

I believe it was mr.Omise who had a trueno frontend he wanted to swap..so go find him in the member list and pm him if your serious about this.

The sidelights are still on it. Wink

But seriously: my wiring was messed up and took me a while to figure out what was different between the original loom and the current levin loom that is inside my car. Replacing the Levin lightswitch won't do.

But then again: what made it even more problematic is that my current loom is positive-switched instead of mass-switched. But I'm on 50% of fixing that. Wink

This is a USDM Levin...what never existed... Smile

I think that XJS and the former owner of my car haven't exchanged the wiring loom because I still have the Trueno headlight switch and the free plugs for the pop-up lights.

XJS! You will need that wiring for your pop-up lights, won't you?

No. My '87 Levin wiring loom has all the connectors for the popups. Only the side markers need a minor mod: the wires are two short, cause the different position of the Levin corner markers and the Trueno side lights.
