Engine running bad during worming up period
Seriously, you need your oxigen sensor in perfect working order for your engine to work properly..disconnecting it is not a wise thing to do.
New oxigen sensors arent very expensive BTW. I think what blueneon is trying to say is that it might also be the AFM that's gone bad. This doesnt happen often though... FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Blueneon Wrote:Air valve will be on the throttle body, it raises the idle speed when the engine is cold, if its not working properly it could be your problem. You mean air bypass in throttle body connected to a cooling liquid system, which react depending of water temperature (open/close). I checked this. Working OK. Fun is not the straight line! |

Another possibility - check brake power system for leaks !
If somehow the brake master cylinder leaks in the defective power vacuum actuator (I don't know is this possible exactly in AE86 but I had similar problem in the past with another car) - the brake fluid can go to intake manifold. Just disconnect the vac. tube to the power brake cylinder to test it. |

I will try to put a new O2 sensor, and see what will happen. Thanks for your advices.
