Must be pretty easy to have the hood and turbo engine shipped over..otherwise everything is prett much stock...(reg. the daihatsu)

The K midengined roadsters are pretty cool but tiny! Remember seeing a lot of them in Tokyo..closest thing in character to the old british roadsters..lots of character.

If you are serious about wanting something like this...and don't have an ejaculation when you hear the word JDM..take a look at some of the mini based kit cars. Some have the same layout, size and character..some look even better. I believe even the original mini marcos GRP shells are back in production now. That would give you an unique car, but a lot better supported back here in Europe. Luckily the mad brits made tons of these cars.

And the ginetta G15 that was mad fast during the race at the nurburgring. these little critters still do battle during an European raceclass called "Kampf der zwerge" or battle of the midgets...my favourite racing class by far.



To me, that Ginetta in particular looks absolutely stunning....they are still making cars..some of them based of miata running gear.
