Inside! Without the airbox they were not as effective. They are the short type 30-35mm and actually gain kW across entire rev range. I'll post the dyno curves for you (this is std intake curve, will add Imec, just have to find...)
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() He found running these back to back on dyno INSIDE factory airbox, netted an EXTRA 3kw below 4200rpm and an extra 6kw above 4900rpm!!! (with no air box it lost out quite a bit!) This mod was performed on a low km stock AE111 Levin. Hmm Now I have both so I can compare soon...
The red one's one the photo above I allready tested on the road. Without airbox it is only fun above 7k. But the sound.... is like we should say in the Netherlands : GEIL ! ae111 finally fully road legal, I had to adapt corolla ae100 headlights to pass the luxembourgish Mot. and the engine works great...
the ae86 should be repainted in the near future. I received my 4agze harness from phoenix tuning but the car does not run. it starts very easily but shuts down after a few revolutions, like it would not use the main injectors, only the start injector... newest acquisition: Honda civic shuttle aka. wagon: 1,6 d16 4x4: soon itll be rocking some xxr 15x8" et0 and a lowering. all it needs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 280z '75 audi S4 B5 '99 KE25 '71 |

AHHH Your the guy who outbid me on that damn wagon!!! I want another one so bad. Here is the current one. 16x9 and 16x10 steffan evos with a supercharged CRX motor (not in yet). I have a brand new d16 with a turbo kit that was supposed to go in it until I bought the crx motor and supercharger. Awesome little cars.

I only wanted that one because it was only 30kms from my house and that I have so many parts for Hondas I could build a turbocharged version with full exhaust, and full Tein suspension. I will find another one soon enough.
