My AE86 @ Nordschleife

Since i`m swapping a CA into my Hachi, i gave the 4AGE a last honour on the Nordschleife Track

I did 2 Laps, unfortunatelly only 1 recorded since the cam felt off the mounting

I missed 3rd gear three or four times in my first lap, seems that the whole tranny/driveshaft area is not stiff enough when driven hard, fucked up a few corners cause of that

Besides that, it was kinda fun

My suspension sucked really hard (Koni) in terms of stability and confidence in the car (felt pretty weird and unstable in corners), gotta change that with new coilovers, bushings etc.

Taking the karussel around the outside: shame on you
I do it myself too, karussel just sucks with old cars, feels like interior falls through floor haha !

Try to take Ex-Mühle in 3rd, should be faster. I used 2nd too but it's much faster if you just keep it in 3rd..it just sounds slow I know

But very cool to see another 4age on the Nordschleife

I took the inside on the second lap, i`ll never do it again

All my suspension parts are totaly worn out, so it was a pretty hard ride through the Karussel.

It`s a horror with old cars, you can feel every bolt and screw fallin`apart.

3rd Gear at Ex-Mühle is indeed quicker, but it sounds like the engine is dying

It was my first lap with the Hachi, so next time i`ll know better

Yeah you learn every lap.. but I'm sure you knew that already.

You visit the Nordschleife often or was it just a one-off ? I usually drive a few laps twice a month so maybe we'll see eachother next time

I didn't find the karussel that rough - maybe because my car rattels like crazy all the time

I`m there three or four times a year, so not as often as you

we wanted to go to the nordschleife on sunday. but sadly a friend died on his motorbike at the nordschleife on saturday... thats why we didn't attack the ring.

but we will be there at the recaro tuningdays. so lets all meet there!
