heshan Wrote:I thought the ECU was having the RPM limit at 9k.... so why would that be if the Super Charger is off at 5.5k?

The bluetop have a rev limit at 7800 but the gze is at 6500.

You will have boost past 5.5 but no more gain power.

On a GEZ 10krpm is useless. until you want a very hi power gze but you are going to spend a lot of $$$

The stok GZE in the 86 is a very good choice Wink

uhh sorry guys,

I have a gze in the AE86, but reff until >7500 rpm.

got a power graph, and tork is high until 5500 rpm but the power until 7500 rpm, that is where the guy from the dyno stopped..

Exactlt what I'm trying to say...Torque will end at about 5500 rpm, you can go to 8000 rpm but don't expect the SC to help you alot there...

That's why I opted for the SC14 to help with the torque band a bit much better then the SC12.

I'm also planning on putting a oil cooler on sourced from a motorbike, but I don't want to mount it ontop of my FMIC nor infront of it so I must look for a decent area in the front of the bumber to get some air flow going through the oilcooler...

@danielvanderwoude well I'm using my stock intercooler but will be using some nice looking stainless steelping piping.. prob 2" piping.. Bringing it infront of the rad towards the right... hav to cut off a bit of the area for the piping to reach the IC

Oil cooler of course a basic one.. should make a big difference even without a big cooler as the filter is right now is IN the HOT zone of the engine so i should see a improvement..

@ Ash hey buddy where can i get a SC14??? is it a direct fit?

I drove the car today.......... and fuck its fasttttt...

I dont even have the intercooler on and shit........

Im running my old radiator right now and worried about its capability to handle the pressure.....

once I get back from Canada in a month I will put the car back to the Radiator 1st and then to the oil cooler...

Then a exhaust with 2.5 inch piping straight-through with cat-back..

I wanted to ask you where the intercooler is located in front but ok...
What's the torque difference between the 4AGE and the ZE for you?

Another question I want to ask is when is the PIMV site coming up again buddy as I miss that site and all the chats...

All the best of luck with the project.
