My childhood dream :-)

Hey guys. I´ve been roaming here for a couple of weeks now and i thought it´s about time to show you my little red hachi.

I know the car since i was a little boy because my grandma lived near to the owner. So everytime i visited her i drove past this sleeping beauty.
Over the years i recognized that the car doesn´t drive a lot and slowly starts to go worse. I knew i had to safe this little car.

So about two months ago i headed there and spoke to the owner.
He told me that another guy allready is interested in this car.

As i recognized later these days he´s also a member here. -->

We talked on and on and after a couple of days he gave it to me for 500€ cause the head gasket was blown and the water cooler was also defective.
Sorry ANK but you allready own a nice jap ;-)

So i fixed this things up and got this hachi grunting again.

Right now i´m only waiting for my new exhaust to pass the TÜV and get this thing road legal.

Some pics from these days. After taking these pics i polished the rims and got the bumpers a little bit darker again. So new pics will follow :-)

Yep, finally.

I´m also impressed about the paint job. I only used some polish, nothing special, and it turned out great.

So, just a small update. I rebuild the front brakes and cleaned up the wheels. I also welded the old exhaust because the guys where i ordered a new one told me that it isn´t available anymore.

Now the only thing that´s left to be done is to paint the hood and pass the TÜV.

So i finally passed the TÜV. And if the weather allows me to i use my hachi as daily driver now.
Next thing to do is to repaint the skirts and clean up this electrical mess behind my radio.

Wow that looks awesome man! But...Before you repaint the skirts you should put a different exhaust on that
