My idea, my love, my history
Jan,
That probably can be explain because KONI only adjust the rebound, the bound will always be as stiff whatever the setting. If its to stiff.... Eircam, I've heard that with the OBX headers there is alot of difference between them. I have also heard stories of people where they fit right away. Could there be a difference between RHD and LHD? Whitepoint, well the nice thing about adjust ability on car, is that you can set them stiffer or weaker as you choose. That said, if the springs are to stiff, then the springs are to stiff, unfortunately they are not adjustable. I would still thing that buying some 250lbs front springs (lowest you can get from paradise) might be just what you're looking for. They may still be to stiff but if you can almost manage with the 350ies you got now.. For the rear it will be a challenge finding something that matches, I'm pretty sure custom made it the only viable option.. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

My Hachi is now in the garage....
She's taking her clothes off and preparing for painting. We will clean her as much as we can but she wont be sanded - it could damage the metal and make it corrugated. I need your help with colour! Of course it depends of taste but what colour do you suggest? I chose white panda but a friend of mine real specialist painter told me their always will be problem with white colour in old car- it want be greate after some time. So my other idea is VOLVO GREY - http://www.volvocars.com/pl/All-Cars-MY0...fault.aspx number of colour 455 what do you think? ................................ Paweł AE86! love love love! There are more panda schemes than white-black and red-black.
What about the grey panda scheme? Take Miguel's hachi for example (eventhough he repainted it with a slightly different color): http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/newera-im...ort/t/3950 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

you make your car not unique with the white paint,
i thing the current color was really matching to this car, zenki, with grey bumpers and orange corners, about springs Jan is right with comfort issues but confy feel is not equal to comfort ride, koni are to harsch but if you set them soft and have softer springs then they can absorb more as gas TRDs with race springs, the TRD options feels more confortable on your roads but in reality give you more bumps to chassis as the koni(full open) option on softer springs. I would buy 4kg/mm springs for coilovers from eibach as the hardest possible option you can use on those roads and rear it would be worthy to search for some koni or apex lowering springs, ask Bastian if its possible to buy only rears from the factory. Another question is how stiff is the compresion on HTS dampers. http://www.86ers.org All the hachies that Daytona can only dream about. |

But of course it has to be a color of your own liking. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Whow pawel,
You're going fast!! Its been a couple of years since I last saw my car this far stripped. Actually, I never went this far because I see the engine is out and all the windows.. Man thats fast! Time has not gone by well on that rear But that should be fixable for sure. Well, all thats certain in life is rust and taxes I guess Its great to see you're bringing her back, I can't wait to see her all fixed up. You really should keep her blue though I originally was planning to paint her blue again but then panda (black on the bottom). I always said I would never make her white.
