Hehe... Try to stop me. Tongue
Anyway, I still have about 1 1/2 years left to decide: I think by that time I might respray the car. But I could also do it in steps. Undecided

That's not the honda grey. I'lll try and find a picture for you guys. I'm going for a darker grey myself, two-tone of course. So prepare not to be the only one with a grey hachi! I own a coupe anyway so it's not that big a deal..

Banpei, don't push your luck Wink

I'm not sure I'll go for that exact gray color either, but it gives you an idea... I might even give it a hint of pearl (not sure thats what its called), but I don't know if this will bring it too far from original. What do you guys think?

Here's a pic I found, the colour changes a lot depending on the light conditions..bit similar to the grey colour on toyota's corolla T-sport.

I still need a fuel lid door - from the US since I don't want any key holes - and cabels to to open it... Max is trying to get it for me - I hope it doesn't take too long! Apart from this its ready for some paint Thumbs up! Hurray!

how is it going to open?

I am going to weld my keyhole shut, and use a cable.

daytona,

certain hachi's came standard with the cable that opens the lid from a thingy next to the drivers chair. If I am not mistaken Banpeis SR5 has itSmile So in theory you should be able to source everything originally toyotaSmile

Greetz,

then just tear Banpei's car apart and write down the numbers which are on the parts.

or find a parts catalogue Wink
