New AE86 1/8th Trueno from De Agostini

If you really want a brand new AE86, it's now possible to buy one for 1/8 of the regular price. The only problem is that it's also 1/8 of the size.

Having had a look at the images, it seems to be very accurate. Sadly I quit collecting models, so won't be buying this. If anyone here decides to spend the $2000 (approx) on one of these then please keep us informed via this thread. Would be good to see someone here build one.

That looks amazing!
From what I get is that it's limited to 110 installments and you get some basic functions are operational like a normal car. But the price reads 490yen for the first one and then 1850yen for every next one. That's 202140yen for the complete kit, which is about 1200 euros or 1000 GBP for the complete car!

Unfortunately those ports appear to be quite restricted. I think we would need to ask oldeskewltoy to do a porting and polishing job.
