Wow, that Braid Serie 2 RC looks really awesome! A shame that they're so expensive, though. I think I'm going to stick with my original plan and order the wheels for my car from Compomotive in UK. They have a pretty nice selection of oldschool wheels, including a Minilite replica. A few 4-bolt
wheels from their catalog; Website's at http://www.comp.co.uk/. |

The only rim worth buying from compomotive is the second one at the top. The rest are all boat anchors, sometimes twice as heavy as the OEM hachi rims.

All the rally guys over here use almost exclusively Compomotive in their AE86s so I thought that they'd be fairly lightweight. The Compomotive ML (the Minilite clone) is available with -12 and -24 ET, so it would be ideal for use with the N2 flares. I've so far been unable to find relatively affordable 7x15" or 8x15" wheels with similar offsets and I'm not too keen on using huge spacers.. Regarding the prices - here's the price list of the finnish reseller for Compomotive. The prices are the recommended retail prices, one usually gets some discount when buying a full set. http://www.autoracing.fi/tuotteet/Compomotive.php |

@firehawk: Rota RB's come in 7 or 8x15 in low offsets too I think.. but those are certainly heavy.
