Hello,
I recently found this forum wile searrching for all things AE86. I have to say I like it so far. Over here in Idaho it is somewhat hard to find anything for the 86. I purchased my first AE86 2 years ago for $100. I found it it someones yard and asked if they'd sell it, they said $100 and you haul it out of here. Came back with the cash and a buddy... We push started it and I drove it home... No brakes, head gasket was crap, but it made it home..... I fixed the brakes slapped a head gasket on drove it for a few months then the aging 4age said no more, after 357,000 miles it spun a bearing, and the crank was no good anymore....
Thats why I got the SR5 for $200 after I moved to Idaho.... again had crappy breaks. looked like crap. But we slapped some good fenders on it from a donor coupe, and now it is waiting a trip to Tacoma, Washington where a guy is trading me a running GTS coupe for my old SR5 Hatch... so in 2 weeks my 1985 GTS Hatch will be running again.

Sorry for the babbling, and Hello form over here in Idaho.

Kelten Thumbs up!

86, if you simply upload them as attachments to your email they get scaled automaticallySmile

You can add attachments by pressing the postreply button instead of using the quick reply box for replying.
