Quote:AE86: back in the 80's, nice sports car for middle-class people Not so true... In mid 80's you have to be already from a mid-high class to have an AE86. It's similar to have a Celica at current date... 30000€ spent in a car is not for everyone. I can check how much it cost to have an AE86 back in the 80's just for curiosity.... Quote:Damn, you guys have so many levins in good shape over there! In Portugal you can buy three types (there's more but these are the main) of AE86: 1. Very good car, one owner, never restored, original, few km. Price is variable depending of the owner (is he aware of the AE86 fever or not) 2. Very good car, two owners, the 2nd owner had restored it, used it for a couple of years and now plans to sell it, mid mileage, some aftermarket parts. Price is also variable, but if is it high is because much money was spent on restoration. 3. Bad car, badly restored or never restored, many owners, the last worst than the previous. Long car crash history, many km, far from original. Price variable depending if the seller knows or not the AE86 fever going on. By the way welcome to the forum Keeping the AE86 alive! |

A friend of mine is visiting Portugal soon.
I was wondering if you guys have any tips or links on how to find some AE86 parts in Portugal? Seeing how there are members here that are from Portugal and all. |
