Hi from Aruba
Hi all, having lived 11 years in Holland I finally returned to Aruba a few weeks ago. My parents happen to have just moved to Spain and I "inherited" this '83 SR. This car I used to drive before going to study out in Holland and i begged my mom not to sell it and leave it for my return.
This week-end I'm buying a cheap second SR for parts and I intend to fix this car. My goal is to restore the car as a daily driver, no need to tune extensively, this car rocks stock already. I hope to get some help on these forums from fellow AE86'ers. Reserved for a cool sig |

Hi from Aruba
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This car has been my parents' for about 20 years and came from the still operational local Toyota dealership.
It has has been repainted, tough the original color was gold. The interior is really messed up tough. Also it has been a victim of a joyride many years ago, and the tranny has not been in optimal condition since then. As I said I'm buying a parts mule for AWG 300 ( about 130 or so euro) with a stick shift too. It has my same original rims wich I intend to use, and some dash parts i needed to replace. The good thing is I can start to disassemble that car and learn the parts layout without having to hack up my car yet . Speedyrolla nice to see another local poster on the site. Could come in handy if I get unmovably stuck . Reserved for a cool sig |
