Greets from Germany

The message by Moog is basically he enjoys driving the Exige on the track, but not on the streets. He gets his thrills from building old clunky cars into monsters, like he did with his super Mini and the Fairlady Z. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

But he is right the exige makes the most fun on track. But you only realise that if you actually go to a trackday. The good thing is the exige is almost trackready straight from the factory. I only changed the cooler, brake discs and pads. After that you can drive 20-30min straight on a racetrack. No overheating etc. The problem with that exige is that i actually cools to much on the road. Because it has 2 oil coolers. |

Because it has 2 oil coolers.Very crude but effective measure is a piece of cardboard blocking some or all the airflow to a cooler. I used to do that in winter when I still had my 200SX AE86 ex-daily |
