Nipples
Now I've got your attention...
I have a problem with a rear caliper bleed nipple (screw) I know it just wants to break off before it unscrews. I have soaked it for ages in penetrating oil but still no joy. There is no fluid in the system as I have just fitted new pipes so heating it is not a problem, I'm even considering mig welding something to it basically to get plenty of heat. What does everyone think ? I have a rally imminent and can't afford the time to break it off inside Thanks An analogue brain in a digital World |

not 100% guaranteed to work but 9 out of 10 its worked |

I only have a rather large canister type blowtorch, do you think it would work or should I break out the welding gear ?

i use a blowtorch, i think welding might distort the thread, then its had it and needs drilling and re tapping
