New update: New set of seats have been acquired! Its a set of oldscool Recaro's from a Porsche 911 (see the pic). Should be excellent daily use seats. I just couldn't resist their old scool charm and the grey theme ties in nicely with the rest of my car. I was severely torn between these and a new set of Recaro Speeds, but I got a bargain so there is room left in the budget for a true carbon racing seat that I can bolt in for track days.
Big question now is: who knows where they still have some of those bead-curtain seat covers for sale? Gotta keep that old scool flava going strong! A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Ghe ghe..you guys have no sense of humour. Have located a set of 2nd hand beads locally for 5 Euro's. Picking them up this evening LOL. Already have the little scented pine tree hanging from my rear view mirror.

Damn, why don't just swap the beads for nails and call it a free acupuncture.
 I can't possibly imagine beads being comfortable.
