NoHachi Wrote:Okidoki...went to the MOT this morning and........failed (what else is new).

Front exhaust silencer is in need of replacement ( no prob) and supposedly both the U-joints of the driveshaft have play on them...

Might be needing that spare driveshaft faster then I thought Doc..if its ok with you.

The donor car i bought, had 2 new (walker) midpipes with it.
If your car has a 4-2 exhaust, with the 2 pipes coming together just before the silencer, i maybe got a solution for you, but i remember your car has a 3K engine. I know the exhaust manifold is different, dunno 'bout the rest of the exhaust tho.

We already have a set of those sekiguchiUeno(park).
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - NoHachi's KE25 corolla coupe]..why do you think I was informing into 4x110 to 4x100 converters ;-) They're about as expensive as a real nice set of 4x108 rims though so too bad..Rims situation is being resolved temporarily..but you'll see that when its done.

Doc..Could you check your driveshaft for possible play on the yokes too? If I could borrow your shaft for MOT it would help me tons. Will check under the car to see which exhaust system I have...I'm betting on it being the single connector type though..Theres one for sale for 25E but its in Groningen...damnit.

Thanks for the offer, but I have just one week to sort everything out. Guess it will become a ghetto guerilla exhaust..who cares anyway.

With the car driving again I have setup some streetracing sessions with my friends (classic mini and citroen GS). This might very well be the first "streetrace" in the history of streetracing that will be completely legal LOL. Lets see how the yota does in [metallic voice] THE BATTLE OF THE <60hp CARS!!! [/Metallic voice]. Crazy race along the Dutch motorways with speeds approaching 100km/h! Stay tuned for live action footage.

Somehow I'm getting pictures of grannies in electric cars in my head....

Thanks for the un-appealing thoughts....

Damir, Im in a dilemma. Do I support the rwd corolla or the mini (I own one)? I think the 1.3 Cooper will have you for breakfast though. Your only chance is to stay away from turns. Tongue

Good luck!
